Welcome to Elgin Rotary Club's website. Here you will find a brief introduction to the club and its history as well as a little bit of information on the local area and its landmarks.

Elgin Rotary Club is part of the 1010 District which stretches from Fife in the South to the Shetland Isles in the North, a small but vital part of the Rotary International organisation that stretches over 200 countries with approximately 1.2 million Rotarians.

Currently the club has 74 members + 3 honorary members. An extremely active club, Elgin is involved in most aspects of Rotary where service and fellowship apply. Read about who we are and what we do here. Visitors to our club will find a warm welcome awaits them. Come along and enjoy our Thursday lunch, the speaker and meeting the members.

RIBI Young Photographer 2012

Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland is running a competition to find the RIBI Young Photographer of the Year based on an Olympic theme. Elgin Rotary Club, supported by The Northern Scot & Argos, organised the local heats.

Overall winner was Beth Williamson with her photograph entitled 'Clavie' (left).

Winners in the Group category were pupils from Hythehill Primary School, Lossiemouth. To see more photographs click here.

 5 June 2011: Elgin Rotary Marafun City Centre Relay Marathon

A great family fun day with families, serious and fun runners, new & vintage cars, stalls, music, food and charity stalls galore in Elgin City Centre. 625 adult and 170 junior runners participated on a great day of fun and entertainment. Click here to read more and here for results.

12 September: Holding Hands for Heroes

The Rotary Year 2011/2012

After a very successful year presided over by Ian Davidson, the new Rotary year sees a change of theme to 'Reach Within to Embrace Humanity' and President Graham Milne seen on the right, taking over from Ian.

Graham has new Senior Vice President Dave Mitchell, Junior Vice President Carol Stewart, Secretary Iain Jamieson and treasurer Brian Bremner to support him in what promises to be another busy and successful year for the Club.
