Welcome to Elgin Rotary Club's website. Here you will find a brief introduction to the club and its history as well as a little bit of information on the local area and its landmarks.

Elgin Rotary Club is part of the 1010 District which stretches from Fife in the South to the Shetland Isles in the North, a small but vital part of the Rotary International organisation that stretches over 200 countries with approximately 1.2 million Rotarians.

Currently the club has 74 members & 3 honorary members. An extremely active club, Elgin is involved in most aspects of Rotary where service and fellowship apply. Read about who we are and what we do here. Visitors to our club will find a warm welcome awaits them. Come along and enjoy our Thursday lunch, the speaker and meeting the members.

Meetings are held every Thursday at 12.30 for 12:45pm in the Sherwood Suite of the 8 Acres Hotel, Elgin IV30 6UL (at the western edge of Elgin just off the A96 road to Inverness)

Sunday 1st June: Motorfun 2014 in the Cooper Park, Elgin

A great day of fun and entertainment with good weather and massive crowds. Thanks to all who contributed to the day, especially our sponsors, "It's a Knockout" competitors (see the winners here) and all the stall holders, performers, car and motorcycle owners, garages and all the friends of Elgin Rotary Club who helped to set up and run the event.

The Rotary Year 2014-15

After another busy and very successful Rotary year presided over by Bill Ross, 2014-15 sees a new theme of "Light Up Rotary" with President Lawrence Fraser taking over from Bill.

Lawrence has an experienced team to support him comprising Senior Vice President Donald Miller, Junior Vice President Sandy Ritchie, new Secretary Margaret Stenton and treasurer Brian Bremner. The Club has already mapped out its plans for the year with many exciting old favourites and new fund-raising events and entertainments.
